CLIVE DAVIS

When it comes to influential music executives in the industry, few names carry the weight and legacy of the late Clive Davis. Over the course of his extraordinary career, he played a pivotal role in launching and shaping the success of global superstars including Whitney Houston, Kenny G, Barry Manilow, and Alicia Keys, among many others.

He also founded the highly successful J Records, a label that made a significant impact on the Billboard charts throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s. Beyond his work as an executive, Clive Davis was widely recognized for his iconic, invitation-only Grammy after-parties, where some of the biggest names in music gathered alongside key industry leaders.

Even in his final farewell, he remained surrounded by the artists and executives who defined an era of music he helped build. Rest in peace to a true legend whose influence helped shape modern music history.
