Francis Darshan - Harp player and music composer, band leader. Musician, composer, producer, and founder of The Garland Band.

I was born and raised in a working-class district of Budapest. I sang in a choir in music elementary school and later studied piano. We rehearsed in a rehearsal room every day. At the age of 14 I started playing guitar and bass and at the age of 19 I started touring with Hungarian star bands. Between 1990-92, I moved to France and worked as a studio musician. It was a wonderful vocational school and a great learning experience. In music, I am always motivated to learn and develop. I was always looking for originality and uniqueness. At the age of 31, I continued my musical studies and started learning the harp. After 5 years, an Irish / Celtic harp with a unique design and sound of my own was made for me by an instrument maker.

As a composer, he has collaborated with many great Hungarian artists. He was also a founding member of the Master and Disciples ensemble, which earned many gold and platinum records.He has also composed lots of music for international commercials which have been played for years in different countries. In 2015 he had the opportunity to work with the famous English superstar Craig David as a musician and arranger. The result of their joint work was a monumental concert on the 3rd of May 2015, at the Syma Event and Congress Center in Budapest.
