The Lionsgate biographical film Michael has officially shattered box office expectations, surpassing the $1 billion milestone worldwide to become the first biopic to ever reach the mark.
Starring Jaafar Jackson, the film broke the record for the biggest opening weekend for a music biopic and is currently one of the highest-grossing films of the year.
